Willingness

Are we really willing to sacrifice all we have to follow our God?

Are we ready to lose what we treasure most on earth so that we have eternal treasures in heaven?

In Matthew 19:16-28 we learn about the wealthy young man who is promised treasures in heaven by Jesus himself if he is willing to sell all he has, and follow Jesus. The young man walked away sad because he had such great wealth and did not want to sacrifice.

Everything we have on this earth means nothing at all, it is all useless. It shouldn't matter who has the nicest things or even who is higher on the corporate totum pole. What matters most is what we are doing for gods kingdom, because we are on this earth to fulfill his plans he has for our lives. We are not here as Christians to come against each other and condemn each other because now days that is all we see. We should be there to uplift our brothers and sisters not tear them down because they look differently then we do. We all love the same god and live for one god that's all that should matter.
